I'm Ilaysa, co-founder of Alexine Jewellery. After studying Business Administration and working in real estate, I followed my true passion: jewellery. I combined my love for rare treasures with my business background to build a brand rooted in craftsmanship, authenticity, and personal connection.

Hi, I’m Merel, proud co-founder of Alexine Jewellery. At 54, I’ve had the privilege of building and running my own business with my lovely husband for over three decades. For 31 years, I operated a furniture business in Den Bosch and Bussum. But as life goes, there comes a time when you follow your heart. After all those years, I decided to pursue my true passion, jewellery.
Jewellery has always been a hobby close to my heart, one that began at a young age and has blossomed into a full-fledged business. What started as a personal interest is now my dream come true, designing and crafting fine pieces with 14kt, 18kt gold, lab and natural diamonds, and other precious gemstones.
What sets me apart in the world of jewellery is my genuine dedication to my customers and my commitment to providing excellent service and results. Every client is special to me, and I believe that’s what truly makes my business unique.
Beyond my love for fine jewellery, I have a passion for fashion, interior design, and living life to the fullest. When I’m not working, you’ll find me at the gym, spending quality time with my friends, family, and always keeping a close look on the latest fashion and interior trends. And, of course, I can’t sit still for long, there’s always something new to get inspired by.
